As a self- funding patient, Mr Trotter reports his prognosis to my GP without delay so she can proceed with any necessary treatment immediately. Mr Mathew Trotter is both Professional and friendly. He takes time to listen to what you have to say and does not rush you. At my initial consultation, after examination, he diagnosed Glue Ear on both sides and discussed my treatment options very clearly. I decided to have adult grommets fitted using local anaesthetic, which he carried out within a matter of weeks on the 26th of November. I am very satisfied with the outcome and I can now hear clearly again. It was really good to to be treated by someone who is not only very knowledgeable, but who also realises that the patient is a human being and may need some reassurance. Thanks Mr Trotter

My son has been under Matthew's care for several years. My son had a mastoidectomy with another surgeon which did not heal effectively. Since transferring to Matthew the quality of care has been exceptional. Matthew is a positive person, really professional and has a wonderful manner with his patients, able to put children (and their parents) at ease. He takes the time to clearly and simply explain the diagnosis and treatment plan. Our journey with Matthew has culminated in major reconstructive surgery which was successful. Not only does my son now have a perfectly functioning ear, but has regained a large degree of hearing in that ear. We will continue to have post operative follow up with Matthew and we highly recommend and trust him.
